“Gervais Street Bridge” 42.5" X 32.5" total size framed Oil on Canvas

South Carolina Artist has done it again! New oil painting of the Gervais street bridge is back by popular demand. I'm particularly proud of this painting. Representing the city that I live in and Love, this composition features my third painting of the Gervais Street Bridge from a different perspective. The City's skyline can be seen in the distance, but the really special thing about this, to me, is the yellow and orange glow of the lamps that line the bridge, and their reflections. I'm also very happy with the trees in the front with their flowing greens, yellows and contrasting reds. (The frame was selected to help the flowing curls of the foliage harmonize the entire piece) The dark green in the lower right corner serves to anchor that corner down and help draw the viewers eye into the picture, with the city in the opposite corner to keep the main focal point. Overall I think this is my favorite to date, and the process has helped me to learn; my favorite part of anything I paint.  More pictures available upon request, and the original sketch will come included with your purchase.
